After more than a year of discussions and planning, a dream is coming to fruition. The bland walkway/bike path along the west side of Town Wash between Mesquite Blvd and Old Mill Road is being transformed.
Amenities include beautiful landscaping, 3 shelters from the sun, picnic tables and benches, and efficient lighting. With community and nonprofit participation, the next phase of the project will add public art. The walk or bike ride between the Library, Senior Center, Pool, and Recreation Center will at last be a thing of beauty.
